El Covino likes to think of himself as "el hombre", according to Covino, some have even called him "The Baddest Latin in Manhattan." A die hard fan of The NY Yankees and Rock Music left him with a hard decision to make...Take Jeter's job or ROCK the nation's airwaves??! In College, Steve Covino produced and programmed his own radio show (Upper Montclair NJ's 90.3 WMSC FM) which led him to the Mecca of commercial Rock Radio - WXRK FM 92.3 K-ROCK RADIO NYC ; THE FORMER home of the one and only "King of All Media," Howard Stern. Since the morning slot was filled, Covino got a full time job in the Marketing/Programming Depts.

Not completely satisfied with his gig as a "Desk Jockey" he finally got his breaks as the Producer & and co-host of "Solid State" with DJ Liquid Todd (New York's #1 rated show on Sat. Nights) later called "Altered State" Friday nights on 103.5 WKTU The Beat of NY Covino then got a spot on The legendary, "K-Rock's Hard On" with Crazy Cabbie ("New York's Hardest Rock Show") Finally, by Popular demand (A LOT of ass kissing), Covino eventually landed his own weekend show at K-ROCK which led him to the stratosphere of SIRIUS Satellite Radio!

Steve Covino can now be heard nationally on "The Covino & Rich Show" Live Mon-Fri from 12pm - 3pm ET (replayed weekdays at 6pm ET) and listen out for C & R recaps and highlights on the weekends ONLY on MAXIM Radio with Covino & Rich- SIRIUS XM Stars TOO on Sirius 108 and XM 139. Also, bend over as he kicks your ass 5 days a week on Pure Hard Rock Octane! on Sirius 20 and XM 48.
